I've never stitched before, are your patterns good for beginners?

Yes! Every pattern has everything you need to know to get started, a supply and color list, a stitch guide, and step-by-step photo instructions.

What supplies do I need to start?

Embroidery doesn’t require many supplies: You’ll need fabric, a hoop, an embroidery needle, embroidery floss, and some scissors. You can find all of these items your local craft store, fiber shop, or sometimes at second-hand stores!

What type of fabric should I use for embroidery?

I prefer 100% cotton, linen, or a cotton-linen blend.

What do I do with my embroidery once its finished?

There’s no rule that says you need to do anything with your embroidery once it’s finished! Many people just enjoy the meditative process that stitching allows. However, if you prefer to display your embroidery you can keep it in a hoop (as a frame), or sew your fabric onto a pillow or other home textile.

What's included in your kits?

My kits include instructions, pattern and transfer paper, a needle, embroidery hoop, fabric, and embroidery floss. This is everything you need, except for embroidery scissors and a writing utensil.

How do I transfer a pattern to dark fabric?

The easiest way is to use white transfer paper (found in fine art stores). Alternatively, you can use a white charcoal pencil or gel pen.

How do you create your designs?

Pencil and paper! If I’m making a design into a pattern or kit I’ll scan it and clean it up in photoshop.

Do you sell wholesale?

I sell my needle minders, pins, and stick and stitch packs wholesale. Send me an email for my price list!

How do Stick and Stitch packs work?

Stick and stitch packs are pretty cool, you stick the design on your hoop or garment, stitch, and then rinse away the design!

I've finished one of your patterns, can I sell it?

Patterns are for personal use only (gifting is of course fine). It’s unfair to others who have purchased the patterns for personal use.
